Recently, the Executive Meeting of the State Council approved the Opinions on Several Policies and Measures to Vigorously Promote Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation jointly drafted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Finance and other relevant departments, and identified five measures to vigorously promote mass entrepreneurship and innovation. This is undoubtedly a boost and reassurance for entrepreneurs.
The strategic positioning of driving employment through entrepreneurship and realizing development through innovation has been recognized and implemented by many entrepreneurs, but entrepreneurship is not easy. As a pioneer who has been pioneering for more than ten years, Wu Shiwei, born in 1975, is a member of the CPPCC of Jiangxi Province, a member of the Standing Committee of Jiangxi Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the chairman of Fuzhou Shuangling Magnetic Materials Co., Ltd., has had a deeper understanding and reflection on entrepreneurship, and has also given advice and guidance to entrepreneurs today.
Entrepreneurship needs to go to the grass-roots level to practice without fear of hardship
Wu Shiwei stood in front of the French window of the office, pointed to a large area of open space in front of the building and said: That is also the development land reserved by the municipal government for Shuangling. I can hear the excitement, pride and confidence in the future development of the industry.
Although the company has developed into a medium-sized enterprise with nearly 900 employees and an annual output value of more than 300 million yuan, and has built its own production bases in Fuzhou, Jiangxi Province and Laiwu, Shandong Province respectively, Wu Shiwei is still very excited when talking about the difficulties during the initial entrepreneurial period.
After graduating from college, Wu Shiwei worked in a well-known Taiwan funded enterprise in Dongguan. He started as a grass-roots technician, trained in the R&D Department, the Product Department and the Sales Department, and was later assigned to work abroad for three years. In 2004, Wu Shiwei, who was nearly 30 years old, resolutely gave up the treatment of a Taiwan capital supervisor, rented a small place in Tongli Town, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, with 60000 yuan in his pocket, recruited six or seven workers, and founded Shuangling Magnetic Materials Co., Ltd., which specializes in the spray painting process of magnetic ring coils and ferrite magnetic rings.
"According to the marketing practice at that time, the customer's payment settlement cycle was generally 120 days. As a newly established small and micro enterprise, suppliers generally did not sell on credit to us for the sake of prudence, and required cash settlement. This made the enterprise have great difficulties in the early capital turnover. Therefore, at the beginning of the development of the enterprise, due to the disadvantages in personnel and capital, the monthly turnover was sometimes less than 30000 yuan, and often broke even with their income and borrowed money everywhere."
In addition, in order to save logistics costs and increase communication opportunities with customers, Wu Shiwei often rode a three wheeled motorcycle to deliver goods. Due to the incomplete roads and infrastructure at that time, it usually took a whole day to travel back and forth.
Wu Shiwei said frankly that he was very grateful for his experience in Taiwan funded enterprises. Without that experience, maybe entrepreneurship would not be successful, or there would be more setbacks. At the same time, Wu Shiwei is envious of the young people who are starting their own businesses. "The current environment, whether political or economic, is very suitable for young people to start their own businesses, and there are many opportunities and resources. The soil for starting their own businesses is very fertile. But young people should also guard against arrogance and rashness, and not be eager to start their own businesses. It is better to accumulate some grass-roots work experience first, and be prepared to bear hardships."
Entrepreneurship should return to industry and endure loneliness
When it comes to entrepreneurship, Wu Shiwei really has a lot to say. Especially after Premier Li Keqiang proposed "mass entrepreneurship and innovation", Wu Shiwei was deeply touched.
"Pigs will also fly in the wind of Internet plus." Wu Shiwei agrees with this sentence, but he is also worried. Today, with the rapid development of the Internet, it has indeed provided more opportunities for entrepreneurs and injected new vitality into traditional industries, but there is no doubt that the real economy is the economic foundation of the country. "Looking at his entrepreneurial path of more than ten years, although there is no surprise of" getting rich overnight ", steady growth is the way for enterprises to develop healthily, and also conforms to the style of Jiangxi businessmen." Wu Shiwei introduced that Shuangling has basically maintained an annual growth of 30% since its establishment, and even more than 100% in the rapid development period. Real enterprises can also grow rapidly under the premise of following the market rules, meeting the market demand and implementing standardized management.
Most importantly, the development of the country cannot be based on the prosperity of the capital market and the Internet. The upgrading and innovation of the manufacturing industry is the guarantee of the national economic development; The great national rejuvenation is also inseparable from the development of the real economy and the growth of national brands. "I hope that more young people will have more energy and patience in the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry, so that China can truly become a 'manufacturing power' from a 'manufacturing power'." Wu Shiwei suggested.
